Issue Date: January 20, 2004

2004 is a very powerful year. Can you feel it? Incredible changes were taking place at the end of last year, and they are continuing on. This is a momentous time in history, a very powerful time of change and a very potent time for choice. NOW is the time to bring everything you’ve been laying the groundwork for into your life with abundance, ease, and joy.

As my friend Deb says, this is the year when everything becomes tangible, when everything you’ve been moving towards comes to fruition.

In August 2003, Mars came closer to the Earth than it has in the last 70,000 years. In November 2003, we experienced the Harmonic Concordance, a total lunar eclipse coupled with a special alignment of six main planets that formed a Star of David pattern. (For more information on the Harmonic Concordance, visit here). Solar flares continue to become more frequent, releasing tremendous bursts of energy to our planet. And these are only some of the more outstanding events.

With all this energy, all these new shifts, this is the time to create the life you may only have been dreaming of.

Don’t doubt, don’t debate, don’t hesitate, and don’t let those old worries and fears hold you back. Just DO it!

Begin by finding out what you love, what really makes your heart sing and brings passion and excitement into your being. If you’re not sure what your passion and love is, just stay open to the signposts as you move throughout your days. You might find yourself inspired by a sunset, brought to tears by a newborn child, or laughing with delight when you play catch with your dog.

Create a new vision or expand one you’ve been holding of what you choose for your life, then stay in the certainty that everything good is being delivered to you. Express gratitude each and every day for the gifts of your vision, as grateful as you will be when they’re present in your life.

Know that everything you’ve envisioned is already present, and that you only have to stay open to receive. Take the appropriate actions in your world. Then, stay in joyful anticipation of the magic that is about to unfold in your life. Wake up every morning expecting miracles.

There was a time when ESP (extrasensory perception) seemed strange and unusual. Now, everyone seems to have a sense of their abilities and ESP is casually called intuition. You’ve got it, I’ve got it, we all have it if we pay attention and use our powers.

It’s the same thing with manifesting. You do it, I do it, we all do it. We just need to claim our powers and trust that the magic is happening for us.

In other words, let the PSP begin to work in your life. PSP is a term that my newest workshop group coined for the Parking Space Principle. Many of you consciously do it, many of you do it without thinking, some of you may not have a clue what I’m talking about.

Here it is: many of you have become really good at creating parking spaces when you’re moving around in your everyday life. You start out to a destination, set your intention that the perfect parking space will be waiting for you, know that the space will be there, and then joyfully pull into your open, waiting spot when you arrive. Easy, effortless, and downright fun.

Just expand your mind, expand your thinking, now to apply the PSP in all areas of your life! If I can do it, you can do it. Here’s an example.

At the beginning of December, I had a full workshop for my January Manifesting Made Easy group. No problem, already taken care of, or so I thought. I was ready to relax, rejuvenate, and enjoy the holidays.

When I called the members of the group on December 15th to let them know I would be sending out the welcome letters, I got a surprise. Five of the six group members weren’t going to be able to be there. Here I am, three weeks away from the start of the workshop with one person. What would YOU do? Let me tell you what happened for me.

I got into immediate gratitude and joy, thanked the Universe, and knew that those five people had been holding the places for a very special group. I held the vision of the group full and fulfilled, and gave gratitude every night for the wonderful new workshop group I was blessed with. I waited with joyful anticipation for the Universe to deliver the perfect people and expected the miracles. I was excited!

A week and a half before the workshop started, two people were signed up. The next week, I almost ran into two people (no accidents or coincidences) as I was going about my life and the group was at 4. On the Sunday night before the workshop was to begin, I picked up my office phone at 9 p.m. and an amazing woman that I’d never met signed up and told me she wanted to bring a friend. While I never pick up my office line on Sunday nights, the group was at 5. The next day she called to confirm that her friend would come and the group was full, and fulfilled, at 6.

Just to show you what a great sense of humor the Universe has, another woman called the day the workshop was to start and wanted to join. Then, another woman that I had never spoken to or met called five minutes before the group started to tell me she was coming over to join! It took all I had to convince her that the group was already full. Ah, abundance is amazing….

Now, some of you may be asking if I ever had any doubts. The only thing I ever wondered was if there was a change in the plans – in other words, if the Universe was planning to deliver something even more wonderful to me. I meditated when the workshop was a week away, got the confirmation that everything was in order, and moved forward with confidence and certainty.

The bottom line is that Life happens. It’s our reaction to what happens in life that really counts and determines what we receive. When you embrace changes, look for the best, trust in yourself, believe that the Universe is friendly and has your best interests at heart, and step forward confidently with an attitude of gratitude and celebration, you activate phenomenal forces. Best yet, that’s when the miracles and the magic happens.

If I can do it, you can do it. Make the decision now to enjoy all that is rich, perfect, beautiful, good, loving, kind, healthy, peaceful, abundant, prosperous and joyful in your life starting now! Make this year be the one that counts as you jump in to ride the waves of unlimited success and true wealth in 2004! YOU deserve it!!!

With prosperity and blessings,

Debbie Friedman, C.Ht.

- Dale Carnegie

Well, I don’t know about the rest of you, but I am very excited about “The Butterfly Effect” movie which came out on January 23rd. Not only will I get to see Ashton Kutcher in action, but an idea that has the potential to powerfully impact us all will be brought to the surface.

Some of you are probably familiar with the Butterfly Effect. For those of you who aren’t, I wanted to take a moment to explain. Basically, it’s the theory that a butterfly flapping it’s wings in one part of the world can cause a hurricane in another part of the world.

In practical terms, what this means is that given the right circumstances, even a tiny action can create great changes in our world. What we think may be insignificant in our daily lives may have the potential to create profound and dramatic changes in the lives of many.

In the scientific world, it’s where Chaos Theory meets Quantum Physics. I won’t go into the details here, but if you want more information on this idea, the website for the movie has some terrific resources. Just go here . There are also a number of excellent resources on the internet, easily available through your search engines.

As you move through your daily life, you might want to keep this in mind and remember that everything you think, say, and do can truly make a difference in the world. Make YOUR difference one that is powerful, positive, and profound.

“Perhaps now, more than at any time in our history, the choices that we make in our lives, have lasting effects, and global consequences, that will extend for hundreds of generations into our future…

Statistics have shown that a specific number of people, joined in a focused, unified consciousness of non-denominational mass prayer produce effects that extend well beyond the room or building where the prayer has occurred.”

- Gregg Braden, author of The Isaiah Effect

“Every morning is a fresh beginning. Every day is the world made new. Today is a new day. Today is my world made new. I have lived all my life up to this moment, to come to this day. This moment – this day – is as good as any moment in all eternity. I shall make of this day – each moment of this day – a heaven on earth. This is my day of opportunity.”
